Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the International Society of Behavioral Medicine, the Hans Selye Hungarian Society of Behavioral Sciences and Medicine, and the Scientific Program and Local Organising Committees, we warmly invite you to the 12th International Congress of Behavioral Medicine to be held in Budapest, Hungary in 2012.
The International Society of Behavioral Medicine is a vibrant scientific society representing individuals from all over the world who are brought together by a common interest in the development and integration of sociocultural, psychosocial, behavioral and biomedical knowledge relevant to health and illness and the application of this knowledge to disease prevention, health promotion, etiology, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. Our Congress, held every two years, brings together over 700 scientists and trainees in the field of Behavioral Medicine from diverse international and scientific backgrounds. The theme of the 12th Congress Behavioral Medicine: From Basic Science to Clincial Investigation and Public Health will be reflected throughout the meeting through a variety of symposia, paper and poster presentations. Midday meetings and career development and networking opportunities will also be available. In addition to our Scientific Program, we have a very exciting social program available that includes opening and closing receptions, several tours and a Danube River Cruise with Banquet.We hope you will join us for what promises to be a very stimulating meeting.
