Set in the heart of the Royal Castle District, and a few steps from UNESCO World Heritage sites. Magnificent view of the River Danube, the city of Budapest and the romantic, cobbled streets of old Buda. Ingenious architectural planning: restored remains of a 13th-century Dominican cloister and monastery incorporated into the contemporary structure of the hotel.

CME Credits

The 12th ICBM was granted European CME Credits (EACCME, UEMS). The credits are recognized by the American Medical Association (AMA) as contributing towards the Physicians’s Recognition Award (PRA). To convert EACCME credits to AMA PRA category 1 credit, you will need to contact the AMA.

VISA

Hungary is part of the Schengen Area of 25 European countries. For non-Schengen EU, USA and Canadian citizens a valid passport is sufficient to enter Hungary. Citizens of other countries should check whether visa is needed for them when entering Hungary (for more information please visit the home page of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Hungary). On request, the Congress Secretariat will issue invitation letters for visa applications. Please apply in due time for a visa if necessary and note that visa application takes 30-60 days and personal procedure is neccessary. Download visa application guide in PDF format

Invitation Letter

An official invitation letter will be sent to participants who may need it to obtain visa or funding, etc. Please mark a request for an official letter of invitation on the registration form to assist you with your visa. The invitation does not constitute a commitment to provide any financial support for travelling and living expenses. The invitation letter will only be sent upon receipt of the registration fee.

Meals

Tea and coffee will be available during breaks. Snack boxed lunches: 15 Euro/meal (sandwich, fruit and drink) and a light conference buffet lunch will also be available in the hotel restaurant for 22 Euro/meal.

Commercial Exhibition

The exhibition will be open on Wednesday, 29 August from 17.00 until 1 September 12.00. Delegates will have the opportunity to meet representatives of publishers and other non-profit scientific organizations at their stands to discuss new developments and receive up-to-date information.
